AUSTRALIA TODAY! is conceived as a weekly half hour video-magazine program all about that vast and remote land down-under - Australia! It will feature the many aspects that make up Australian society today: politics; fashion; human-interest stories; business; sports; the media and arts, to give just a sample of the type of segments that will be produced and the subjects covered.

FAIR DINKUM PRODUCTIONS seeks to present the first such weekly video-magazine program to a global market desiring more information than just the occasional one-minute teaser of “Kangaroo found in suburban back yard” that news directors throw into the closing credits before commercial. We will feature up-to-date news and featurettes produced by local TV stations - thus giving a different perspective on present-day goings-on all around Australia. These particular segments, while perhaps commonplace down-under, will be informative, rare and intriguing to other audiences, and not presently available elsewhere on a current weekly basis.

In the past few of years, beginning with the Sydney 2000 Olympics and more recently with some of the reality TV shows, the world's attention is again focused on Australia. People are clamoring for information. AUSTRALIA TODAY! will provide such a weekly and current basis.
